“This bathroom works well because one of its most distinctive features, the stone-tiled surfaces, were not only de rigueur in Rome over 2000 years ago, but became fashionable again in Victorian times,” the designer added.

“However, while the bathroom, bedroom and dressing rooms all have the air of a regal retreat, the bathroom does have a modern edge, too,”

“The glass-fronted cubicles, a request of the owners, contrast the old with the new and also create the impression of greater space in the bathroom.” Pappas concluded. “Similarly, fixtures such as the substantial rainhead shower add a touch of contemporary luxury and convenience.”

  3. A cave-like bathroom design by James Swan

“Because the space was completely internal, with no windows and no other sources of natural light, we decided to treat the bathroom as if it was a cave. We set about creating a dark, dramatic, richly colored space that did not rely on exterior light,” says Swan.
Consisting of a huge bathtub, shower, double vanities and a separate toilet, the bathroom theme is according to its design of a cave with dark tones dimmed by artificial lamp that acts in place of the natural light, as successful furniture shop in Cambodia
